ProTape pro 980 1-mil red polyester tape, single coated with 2-mil silicone pressure sensitive adhesive. General purpose masking in powder coating applications. This product is engineered for applications where no/low residue is a requirement. It is designed to perform in all phases of masking operations for printed circuit board production. It protects circuitry from splashes and chemical fumes. It can also be used as a silicone splicing tape. Benefits are highly conformable, provides no-leak seals, controlled unwind, enhances manual or machine application, polyester film substrate and allows for easy removal without danger of breakage or bath contamination. Features includes quick stick, short term, high temperature resistance, good chemical and solvent resistance. Applications includes powder coated surfaces, tabbing, splicing, ciruit board protection. 3-mils total tape thickness. 23 pounds per inch tensile strength. 100 Percent elongation. 30 ounces per inch adhesion to steel. 4200 Volts dielectric strength. 0 to 356 degrees F maximum temperature.
